2003 HUMMER H2 – SUPERCHARGED – FRASER 6.0L – EXTENSIVELY UPGRADED
This is not your typical 100,000-mile Hummer H2.
I have owned this H2 for many years and have invested extensively in maintaining and upgrading it. It was built as a vehicle to keep and enjoy, not modified quickly for resale.
The H2 has approximately 99,500 miles on the chassis, but the original engine was replaced with a Fraser 6.0L long block approximately 5,000 miles ago.
It is also equipped with a Magna Charger Radix supercharger, Corsa performance exhaust, upgraded suspension, brakes, wheels, audio system and numerous other improvements.
ENGINE & PERFORMANCE
-
Fraser 6.0L replacement long block – approximately 5,000 miles
-
Magna Charger Radix supercharger
-
Corsa Performance exhaust
-
Upgraded air intake/filter
-
Recent engine oil service
-
Transfer case recently serviced
-
Newer battery
-
Replacement catalytic converter
-
Recent tensioner/pulley work
The supercharged 6.0L completely changes the character of the H2. It has substantially stronger performance than a stock H2 while remaining very usable for normal driving and long-distance trips.
SUSPENSION / WHEELS / BRAKES
-
Approximately 3.5-inch lift
-
Upgraded shocks/suspension components
-
Aftermarket wheels
-
Pirelli tires
-
PowerStop upgraded braking system
-
Brake line work performed
-
Factory locking rear differential
The truck has an aggressive stance without being excessively modified or impractical to drive.
INTERIOR & ELECTRONICS
-
Gray leather interior
-
Pioneer upgraded audio/head unit
-
Bose sound system
-
Remote start
-
Radar equipment
-
Extensive sound-deadening work
-
Power seats
-
Power windows and locks
-
Dual-zone climate control
The interior remains in good overall condition for its age. The leather has normal age-related wear and creasing.
EXTERIOR
The burgundy exterior combined with the lifted stance, wheels and other upgrades gives this H2 a distinctive appearance.
This is a 2003 vehicle that has actually been driven and enjoyed, so I am not representing it as a flawless museum vehicle. There are minor scratches, small dings and other normal age-related cosmetic imperfections.
Please review the photographs carefully. I would rather disclose imperfections than surprise a buyer after traveling to see the vehicle.
MAINTENANCE
A substantial amount of mechanical maintenance has been performed during my ownership, including:
-
Fraser replacement 6.0L engine
-
Engine oil service
-
Transfer case service
-
Battery replacement
-
Catalytic converter replacement
-
Brake line work
-
Tensioner/pulley work
-
Air filter service
-
Additional routine maintenance as needed
Maintenance records and documentation are available.
KNOWN ITEMS / FULL DISCLOSURE
The H2 has normal cosmetic imperfections consistent with a vehicle of this age.
The oil-pressure gauge currently does not read correctly. This appears to be related to the oil-pressure sending unit/sensor rather than an actual oil-pressure problem.
I encourage serious buyers to inspect the vehicle personally or arrange an independent pre-purchase inspection.
WHY THIS H2 IS DIFFERENT
There are cheaper early H2s available.
If you're simply looking for the cheapest Hummer H2 you can find, this probably isn't the truck for you.
What makes this H2 different is the combination of a very low-mileage Fraser replacement engine, Magna Charger Radix supercharger, Corsa exhaust, upgraded suspension, PowerStop brakes, wheels/tires, electronics and extensive maintenance already completed.
Duplicating this build would require purchasing a good H2 and then spending substantial money on the engine, supercharger, exhaust, suspension, brakes, wheels, tires, electronics, labor and maintenance.
OWNERSHIP
This H2 has been part of our family for many years and was never intended to be a quick flip.
My wife drove it regularly for approximately five or six years, and we have trusted it for long-distance travel, including trips between Colorado and Texas and driving through severe winter conditions.
I'm selling simply because I have other vehicles and automotive projects and cannot keep everything.
INSPECTION / SHIPPING
Serious buyers are welcome to inspect the H2 in person.
Independent pre-purchase inspections are welcome and encouraged.
I am happy to reasonably cooperate with the buyer's selected vehicle transporter. Shipping arrangements and costs are the buyer's responsibility.
Additional photographs, videos, maintenance records and documentation are available to serious buyers.
POSSIBLE PORSCHE TRADE
I would consider trading the H2 toward a Porsche 911 Carrera 4S or Porsche 911 Turbo with a MANUAL TRANSMISSION, with additional cash from me depending on the vehicle, condition and value.
Primarily interested in clean, well-maintained examples with good service history.
If proposing a trade, please send the year, model, mileage, VIN, trade value, photos and maintenance history.
Manual transmission only.
TERMS
Clean title.
Mileage may increase slightly because the vehicle is occasionally driven.
Vehicle is sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties expressed or implied.
Buyers are encouraged to inspect the vehicle or arrange an independent inspection before purchase.
Serious inquiries only.
